Our Supply Chain Management operations offer a host of different career opportunities as we manage, organize, order, distribute and deliver supplies for all hospitals and off-site locations. We utilize the latest supply chain technology, as most operations are performed through electronic systems. Our East Tower project alone represents an $80 million equipment and procurement budget and will open new distribution channels to the hospital.
Our Environmental Services and Housekeeping group provides a variety of cleaning services, from daily hospital needs to special projects. Our best practice techniques, focus on safety, and annual training seminars provide the support that our team members need to make the most out of their careers.
Our Hospital Guest Relations department demonstrates Rush’s continued dedication to a pleasant and memorable hospital experience. From Guest Relations to Volunteer Services to Interpreter Services, our role is providing our patients and visitors with the information, direction and services they deserve and expect. Our Transport group covers more than 3 million square feet transporting patients from one place to another, offering our team an operation that provides service from one central location. Our professional culture adds to the outstanding service Rush offers its patients, as we’re responsible on average for 240,000 patients per year.
Our Security group protects, serves and keeps our patients, visitors and employees safe each day. We are helpful stewards and enforce the rules and regulations that are important to maintain a secure hospital environment. Our security officers receive ongoing development courses, including IAHSS training and certification.
