Why did you accept a job here?
My initial contact with the recruiter in HR and the interview process
were very pleasant. The duties for the job I initially accepted here at
Rush were to be substantial, and I decided to take the challenge.
What do you do at Rush?
I am an Administrative Assistant in the Quality department. I provide
general administrative support and ensure efficient operation of the office.
Some of my responsibilities include coordinating travel and meetings,
assisting in special projects, and processing the bi-monthly payroll.
What do you think about the work environment?
Collaboration is emphasized in my department. All of our jobs are made
easier because we work together as a team. In turn, we receive feedback,
collaboration and input from several sources. All questions are welcomed,
and if you need help, you are sure to receive it.
Tell us about a good day at work.
A great day is when I do my job the best way I am able, and it results
in directly helping my co-workers or patients.

What does your future look like at Rush?
This is definitely the place I want to stay. There are so many exciting
things happening, like the new hospital opening soon and recent ratings
of Rush ranking us as one of the best hospitals. And there are plenty
of opportunities for advancement.
