Why did you accept a job here?
Rush is a great environment to work in. They also offer really good benefits.
The people are wonderful here, too – everyone is always friendly and professional.
What do you do at Rush?
I’m Lead Service Coordinator at the perinatal center, called Child &
Family Connections. We receive early intervention referrals from physicians
to care for families across the city and throughout the wider community.
What do you think about the work environment?
I get to work with a wide variety of diverse co-workers as well as families
that we see for early intervention. It allows for many learning opportunities.
Tell us about a good day at work.
Any day I work with families to help them access early intervention services
is a good day. It means I am empowering them to take charge of their child’s
care.
