At Rush University Medical Center, our Marketing and Communications group is the voice of our organization. We manage Rush's internal and external communications and are responsible for building the organization's image and bringing in patients. Whether it’s through our major branding campaign, effective media relations, myriad publications and online strategies, or the production of community events, our collaborative team is dedicated to work that’s of the highest quality. We’re a professional group of marketers, writer-editors, graphic designers and PR experts with different career backgrounds and experiences. Each day we come together to develop and execute ideas that will capture the interest of patients, health care professionals and potential customers. It's an exciting time to do what we do as Rush changes how health care is delivered and the changing media present us with all new challenges and opportunities.
Our Strategic Planning group supports the long-range planning and program development needs of Rush University Medical Center, Rush Oak Park, Research Affairs and Medical Affairs. We’re a small department consisting of a Director, Project Manager and Analyst who all play a critical role in the future of Rush’s organizational growth. Our associates use their creative ideas, meticulous planning and strategic experiences to further enhance and implement various programs across all areas of Rush. Starting as a pilot program, Rush will test the effectiveness of text message reminders for customers signed up for Rush classes or events. The success of this program could result in this method being utilized for patient appointments as well.
