We have several programs and services for veterans and their families.
Rush developed a six-month temporary stipend program to train military veterans in key health care IT technologies in order to jump-start their careers. The program's three primary objectives are to develop a veteran's skills to obtain a job in I.T., allow veterans to be part of a focused, leading-edge program, and engage veterans to share their stories. The resumes of veterans hired by Rush as part of the EN-Abled Vet program will be strengthened by their participation on state-of-the-art information technology projects.
The Road Home Program connects veterans and their families to the care, services and resources they may need as they return from military service. The center offers a comprehensive program of diagnostic, treatment and referral services at Rush and via a network of collaborating community agencies.

The Advanced Trauma Training Program is designed to equip deploying military medical corps and civilian first responders with state-of-the-art knowledge and hands-on skills required to respond to real-life emergency situations. The training prepares participants for the battlefield or catastrophic events at home.
